Migos Sued For Allegedly Stealing Walk It Talk It Song
Rap group Migos have been sued by one rapper, Leander C. Pickett better
known as M.O.S for allegedly stealing the iconic song, Walk It Talk It.
The rapper said he recorded a song called “Walk It Like I Talk It” way back in 2007, and released it on a DJ Folk mixtape in 2008.
In documents obtained by TMZ,
Pickett says he realized, in January 2018, Migos had released a track
on their “Culture II” album with an amazingly similar title “Walk It
Talk It” which uses a “substantial portion” of his version.
He accused them of never having his permission to use his track and is demanding an injunction against Migos from continuing to profit off his work.
M.O.S. wants the band to turn over all money they made and is seeking unspecified damages.
