New Music: A Different Broth @Phlowetry #PhlowFridays series
For the third installment of the #PhlowFridays series, Nigerian native Phlow returns
with a nostalgic track, “A Different Broth.” In the song, she pays
homage to her home city of Lagos and reflects on the first time she
wrote a rhyme.
“I had the radio turned up on blast, 2 a.m.
alone/ I’m coming from a show that passed/ My bedtime stayin’ up so
they don’t sleep on this, I think they woke a sleeping giant in this
game oh shit,” she spits.
As
an artist with great integrity, Phlow is determined to achieve success
not by following the herd, but by just being herself. So far, so good.
Check out the track.
