Lagos bus conductors will start wearing uniforms, badges
Commercial Bus conductors in Lagos will begin to wear uniforms, name tags and badges, come March, 2017.
This was conveyed by Israel Adeshola, the National President of Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN) on Thursday.
According to Isreal, the wearing of uniforms was approved by the State government on Monday.
He said: “We are in collaboration with Lagos State government on the issue of badges and uniforms for commercial conductors, which was finalised on Monday. This is because we don’t want to start without the government’s approval. So by first week of March we will roll them out”.
Isreal said that the intoduction of uniforms and badges will help identify and apprehend any conductor involved in crime.
