Nana Shagari is the grand-daughter of former
President Shehu Shagari and the daughter of former deputy Governor of
Sokoto state Muktar Shagari. Her husband, Salet Lukat is the foster son
of former Vice-President Namadi Sambo.
As families gathered to celebrate Christmas, the
couple celebrated their love in the presence of family and friends. The
beautiful bride is a first class graduate of the prestigious University
of Leicester and a student at the Nigerian law school.
Their festive period wedding was a complete elite
affair and had some of the highly placed politicians and dignitaries in
the country. Including, Current Vice-president Yemi Osinbanjo, former
president’s wife, Hajia Turai Yar’adua, Aminat Sambo to mention only a
